CARTAGE AND TRANSPORT CONTRACTORS
Wilco Transport was first established as a closed corporation in March 1994. Four years later Wilco was taken over by Imperial Logistics, the leading logistics and supply chain management company in Southern Africa. Since July 2014, there had been a management buyout from Imperial by Willie Mills and Derick Vrey. Wilco focuses on the transportation of goods in the agricultural and food sector. Wilco manages more than 24 000 truckloads within our 11 branches and is well situated in each province to deliver a service to every customer with representation in every area. Headquartered in Joubertina, Wilco organises and manages transportation of goods nationwide and has branches in East London, Port Elizabeth, Patensie, Cape Town, Ceres, Vanderbijlpark, Sasolburg, Derby, Upington, Durban and Bloemfontein. Wilco still has a very good relationship with Imperial and has almost unlimited access to infrastructure, transportation vehicles and additional resources to deliver value-added services to customers nationally. We have a fleet of our own trucks of freightliners, M-Benz and MAN as well as 30 permanent subcontractors.
